Hey :) I have just been playing with it now and omg it's fabulous! Goes on very easily and very smoothly and when applied only stayed wet long enough to easily wipe away a mistake with my finger. I think it would definitely wear well without smudging etc.

Obviously it isnt the most practical colour for day wear, but I think it would add a bit of lift to a more neutral brown/gold colour/muted blue, but I have just been trying it on the back of my hand with the say perfect mousse in pewter and that would look gorgeous for a night out (absolutely love the mousse too) but it looks absolutely fab with the top colour from the rainbow pallette, really good match.

Buy it, buy it now ;) :rotfl:

Thanks for the report, hadn't thought of combining it with the top colour from the palette...time to send OH back to Boots I think :D

I love the urban decay eye potion (eyeshadow base)...my eye make-up stays in place 12 hrs+! when it comes on it looks like foundation for your eyelids.
    Cost = £9.50
(use a good oil based eye make-up remover to take it all off)
    HTH :D

I use 17 Satin Mousse Powder Finish Foundation as eye shadow base, and it works great! Goes on light and smooth. I got a 25g pot on clearance for £1.50, and it will last forever as I only use it on my eyes. I tried the much more costly Clinique eye shadow base a few years ago, and it wasn't great. I still have the barely used compact sitting around, lol.

May be of use to someone, if you have every current no7 voucher:

    3 x no7 mens(including 1 bodywash) £18.00
    2 x no7 lip/eye sheen £11.50
    1 x no7 nail varnish £6.25
    1 X no7 gwp

    Original Total £35.75

BOGOF and mens 3 for 2 kick in

    New Total £24.00

Hand over £5 wys £20 on no7 pc voucher
Hand over £5 wyb no7 cosmetics print out
Hand over 200pts wyb no7 suncare mag voucher
Hand over 350pts wyb no7 bathing acm voucher
Hand over 250pts wyb no7 mens from male gwp voucher
Hand over 250pts wyb no7 cosmetics from female gwp voucher

Till totals as £14.00 and 1050 pts

Yesterday I bought 2 x no7 lip/eye sheen £11.50 and one of the new limited edition summer eye pallettes for £10.50 plus 1 x GWP. Tried to use the 250 points as well as 200pts suncare and £5 off print out, but SA tried all of them but said the 250 would not scan. I later bought a nail varnish and used another £5 print out and the 250 pts did scan, so might be luck of the draw...

Thanks Skittifer :) (You'll be able to meet AB too, if you're (un)lucky :rotfl: )

oh i say, how rude it that :D

Is that dr. nick lowe stuff any good passion?

Also, while in PC a bit back i still noticed they had the energizer batteries 4+2 free upstairs that were going through at 63p or something, plus 3 for 2. They were in front of th till points. I think it was last week I saw them so they may have gone, but they were still marked up at full price so it may be worth a try.

Sorry I am only skimming so can't re-find the post about head lice to quote it but wanted to quickly add my 2p worth - head lice don't like coconut!

I used the boots coconut and almond oil leave in conditioner when my dd had them and combed with the nitty gritty.

It's cheap as chips - around £1.29 for a 150ml handy spray bottle and it's often on some kind of offer. BOGOF, 3 FOR 2 ETC - at the moment I think its 2 for £2.

Mrs proudmum I vaguely recall seeing a sign in my larger boots store saying that Ghd's were coming soon or that you could order to be delivered to the store. I have a memory like a sieve but will check for you on friday if you want.

oh my sisters ghd's stopped working a couple of weeks ago (understatement - they went on fire abit!!) and she couldnt really afford new ones at the time.

so i did some research on the web for her and found loads of rave reviews for babyliss 230 elegance straighteners. everyone was saying they were as good as ghd's.
sister was very skeptical about it but got the anyway as they were on offer in boots for around £50. and she was amazed - said they really are just as good as ghd's - and she has really tightly curled coarse hair so she should know

so if you cant find the ghd's instore - look for these instead!

How long had she had them???

My friend's GHDs croaked last year and she'd had them a fair while, she spoke to GHD and they replaced them free of charge. So, even though she has some new ones already it may be worth giving them a buzz if she still has them - they're alot of money to go on fire!! x

    Hi Ladies,
My printer went bust over the weekend - which means i can't print the £5 off No7 voucher. Would someone be so kind enough to print me a few? I'll send an SAE today.
    Thanks

It should say on your receipt. Looking at mine it says something like ' With this transaction you received: 1 x Fgr Vch Til Uk Ern' (Frg Vch meaning fragrance voucher)

If it's not there, I'd suggest trying CS.

    hth.

Hmmm, edited. It might be that that is printed on your receipt yet you still didn't receive the £5 off, but I'd still suggest ringing CS or maybe asking instore if that's convenient?

Thanks very much for the advice I will ring cs up due to no mention on till receipt

Edited to say phoned cs up really helpful
gave me 700 points on my card due to voucher not printing I thinks thats better then the voucher saving up for the next boots sale thank you again for giving me the advice
