hi ive got a ford 4000rds in my transit but it wont accept the code ive got for it, the serial number is m401729, and the code in the book is saying 7558 but the radio is just dismissing it as wrong? plz help many thanx

Are there any reports of an increase in Fords having their radios 'extracted' via the window lately.
It maybe an idea that if anyone wants to help code requests it is done by PM if at all. I know this is MSE but there is the potential to being MCE (costing) to the wrong people.:T:A

Can I suggest that anyone wanting codes to unlock radios, should go to this forum and select either the "Ford Radio Codes for Free" thread or the more general "Car Radio Unlocking" thread for all other radios.

The policy on those threads is to only supply one code per person, to avoid
a) thieves
b) people obtaining codes and then selling them to others.
