    Good question ...

    I presumed hoofehearted had the program which generates codes from serial numbers and didn't think about the lack of a zero key. If the OP is stuck, the program was available on eBay for a few pounds, last time I checked.

    keep pressing the number 1 till you get to past number 9, then 0 will appear.

    I was in pedant mode. Fifer had typed a letter O instead of a zero 0

    Yes I do have a program to generate the codes (I obtained it for free, of course).
    Here are the ford 4 digit code entry instructions.

    Current Four Digit Ford Radio Codes
    Ford 3000 Traffic, 4000RDS, 5000RDS, 6000RDS, 6006E, etc

    Switch the radio on and the word CODE should appear in the display

    Repeatedly press button 1 until the correct first digit of the code is displayed.
    Repeatedly press button 2 until the correct second digit of the code is displayed.
    Repeatedly press button 3 until the correct third digit of the code is displayed.
    Repeatedly press button 4 until the correct fourth digit of the code is displayed.
    Once the code supplied is showing on the radio's display,
    press button 5 to activate the radio.:beer:
