HELP! Three (3) Text messages massively delayed!?

Yeah KeithP I have had a read in their T&C's but the only reason it says you have a right to cancel mid-contract "Within one month of a detrimental variation to your agreement"
Well whilst the message that is longer than 1 SMS is hanging around somewhere between the sender and myself, I can receive normal messages only 1 SMS long in perfect time and they don't even 'push' the message through!

Well they phoned me back yesterday afternoon and said "I've been told by the technical support team to get you to try your sim card in another phone and see if the problem persists" to which I replied that I had tried it in three phones and it persisted in all of them, and then she said "try another 3 sim card in your phone and see if the problem carries on then. leave the sim in for at least 24 hours".
They're honestly trying to blame my THREE mobile phones I own!0 -
Well they sent out a new sim card, disconnected my old one before I received the new one so I was left without any mobile phone for 24 hours, and I still have exactly the same problem. The delay may even be longer now, i've been waiting over a day for a message to come through and it still hasn't. Written out a letter to the Head Office explaining the problem and how it breaks their T&C's that they are not providing the advertised service of being able to receive messages, will let all know how I get on in this thread.

my texts are pretty slow at the moment, i'm on three too. i mainly attribute it to living in such a low reception area. incredibly frustrating.

Well after sending a letter and email to their head office in England, Three emailed me back within a day and have told me they are investigating and will contact me within 5 days.

Pah, they were useless!
Said "text messages can sometimes be delayed, but it is not a guaranteed service" or something along those lines.
One of the MSE guides was supposed to be getting in touch with 3 but heard nothing back from them for ages so I presume nothing happened.
Left 3 and now with O2, who provide a much better service.0
