But because I'm short of desk space, and am entering most comps on the internet nowadays and the lists were getting longer, I've had to have a re-think. I made a very basic table in Word with date, comp and OP name, opened a separate window for this, and copy and paste each one over as I enter. It only takes a few seconds, and it doesn't matter whether it's in date order, because you can do a sort afterwards. When the month is over I print off the ones for that month. I do find it easier to trace things now they are in date order.0 -
OK I'm confused. Why a list? What use does it have?
I'm with you on this one, surely a list means it sounds like hard work rather than fun2023 wins - Rice Krispies, Avene Micellar Gel, Barbie Toy, £20 Apple Gift Card, KFC 6 piece bargain bucket, Chloe Nomade perfume, Barbie Toy (second one), Sanctuary Spa Sleep Balm, E45 Moisturising Lotion, Trolls Hamper, 12 Tonie Characters, Sure deodorant, Good Home Utensil holder, £5 Costa Gift Card, Neutrogena Micellar Jelly, Soap & Glory Mascara, Persil capsules,0 -

Evening all, I'm in a dilemma about what to do about a prize I won last year and am hoping for some advice...
I won a holiday to Antigua with Bmi including flights and all-inclusive 2* accommodation... now I was obviously over the moon until I phoned to confirm the flights and they said 'So how would you like to pay?' to which I said 'Huh? Pay? It's a prize?!' Turns out the terms and conditions state that I am liable for taxes on the flights which amounts to about 370 quid for the two of us - more than half the cost of the flights!!
Hoping it was some sort of mistake, I contacted the PR company and they have confirmed that i do have to pay the tax. I'm absolutely gutted as it's a lot of money.
So, I was wondering if anyone else who's won flights had to pay taxes on them? It doesn't seem very good PR for bmi to offer such a cheap-skate prize! Should I just accept Im going to have to pay it and think of it as getting a reduced price holiday? Even though I'm going off-peak during hurricane season and staying in the cheapest accommodation on the island, I doubt I'd get anything as good for the price. Help! What should I do??!! :undecided0 -
Personally I wouldn't pay - did it say anything in the T & C's about having to pay (Have you actually read it rather than them saying it's in there?)
Did you win through here? If so do you have a link to the comp so others can check as well?2023 wins - Rice Krispies, Avene Micellar Gel, Barbie Toy, £20 Apple Gift Card, KFC 6 piece bargain bucket, Chloe Nomade perfume, Barbie Toy (second one), Sanctuary Spa Sleep Balm, E45 Moisturising Lotion, Trolls Hamper, 12 Tonie Characters, Sure deodorant, Good Home Utensil holder, £5 Costa Gift Card, Neutrogena Micellar Jelly, Soap & Glory Mascara, Persil capsules,0 -

I love it that the question is promoting business class but the winner only gets economy flights
It is defo in the terms and conditions that the winner is responsible for paying all taxes - I just never imagined it'd be so much! oh well.0 -
Id pay it as if its all inclusive £347 for the pair of u to go to antigua is very cheap xxx Though the tax is steep, I reckon even a 2* break in antigua all inclusive + flights for 2 would be at least a £1200 xxxxxxxxxxx
Good luck whatever u do xxxx
Im very wary on alot of hol comps as many dont even include flights xxxxxx#JusticeForGrenfell0
