Thanks Stargirl90, I just deleted my post as i didn't know if it belonged here...ooops! I've only been entering seriously for the last week! This site is addictive!!

My previous post I deleted said:

Yeah, being doing it for almost a month now - still waiting for a big win but I'm pleased with the results so far! Luck varies from person to person, you might win straight away or be waiting a few weeks, stick with it though! xxx

I've been comping since March and in that time i've entered over 2500 comps. What do i have to show for all that effort, not a lot. Ok a nice Iron which i did need :T A DAB radio, whats wrong with that you ask well it is supposed to last for 6 hours on one charge but lasts for no more than 2 hours. It constantly cuts out as it tries to tune itself and the electronic banner is so slow a carrier pidgeon would be faster to tell me what song is playing. A football from Continental tyres that took forever to arrive.

I also won a laptop bag but that has never turned up. I can't email them because like an idot i deleted the email. :mad: But still you would expect that if you won something they would have an obligation to send out the prize. And my last win was on the June 30th, the prize a pair of Steal Series Headphones and a CD. Great i thought as i need a new pair of headphones. But after a month of waiting, their email said to wait 28 days for delivery, i emailed them and instead of the headphones i received two crap club anthem CDs. Again if the prize is a pair of headphones you would expect to receive a pair of headphones. :mad: I emailed them a couple of more times but have not received any response. How many more times do i email them i don't want to seem petty as it's only a pair of headphones.

But my biggest moan is about the prizes i haven't won. Where is my Plasma TV, Mac laptop, £5000 and flights to New York? I know it's the luck of the draw but 'm getting a bit paranoid and putting my failure down to my address or because i'm a woman. I'm even thinking that i should tick the boxes that ask if i want them to contact me or opt in for their newsletter. Because if i don't they won't put me in the draw. I know it sounds crazy perhaps i've got the beginnings of Comp Madness :rotfl:Yes i'll contine as its become a bit of an Obssessive Compulsive thing. I feel wrong if i don't enter at least five comps a day. But i am flagging and what with watching the Olympics its getting harder to stay enthusiastic. Anyway thats enough of my whinging for one day. :undecided

Have you read Velvet Glove's Comping Guide sticky? In the section "Winning" scroll down to number 7 "What happens if my prize doesn't turn up?"

I always chase up prizes, beginning with polite emails and working up to declaring my intention to report them to the ISP. And if necessary I do report them to the ISP but you usually don't need to.
