Well you can, though it's not perfect. If. for example. you want to make a start on the end of month list go to "Display Options" and set it to "Thread Title". Click on "Show Threads" then go to page 47/48ish where you will find pages of comps ending 31/08.

You'll only find comps listed which have been posted in the E: 31/08 format. The competitions posted by people who can't see why they have to bother to do that won't be listed and you'll have to waste time hunting for those.

I find they are all easy to find if done by thread title, even the ones which have the wrong format are grouped together, just on a diferent page, so its just a matter of finding each group which is really easy (if that makes any sense lol)

Its even easier and less time consuming if you start by thread time and work through them that way, esp when it comes to the huuuuge list at the end of the month because it means you have already done them all, so rather than having to spend hours and hous doing the long list you just carry on doing the newly listed like usual.

Like I've said a few times I usually only comp on an evening for a couple of hours, I come on here the odd time during the day but thats just to have a natter and see what lovely wins people have got so when people say they don't have time, thats not really an issue because you can still do just as many comps without using the lists.... I know I keep mentioning that but people keep using the not enough time excuse which really shouldn't be an issue.

anyway, off topic again but ohhhhhhhhhh why is it no postie Sunday, the postie is the highlight of my day :rolleyes:

The comps ending for 9th should have been game overed this morning, then the one for the 10th made sticky (to be game overed tomorrow am). I'm sure this will happen in due course.

Oh yes, yes, I understand that, I didn't mean anything about the BG's, please don't take it that way.
It just shows how easy it is to get bogged down with ending lists, that's more what I meant. It's something that has to be kept in check and adds more work for the BG's.
Oh dear. No offence intended.....off to do dailies! :A

For all those who say they don't have time to go through all the lists entering the comps and they want the comps ending lists to stay well, I've done a couple of hours a day on here for the last few days (since I posted on here about going back to comping that way) and I've already covered 93 pages (at 20 a page) including the newly posted ones and entered the ones I want and subscribed to all the ones I look at (great tip whoever posted that as it mean I don't have to open a post now to see if I've looked at it ) so it really doesn't take the amount of time you all seem to think it will without those threads, maybe give it a chance without them like those who don't like them have given it a chance with them for most of the year so far.

Ok, Back to the lists for my hour today!lol

going back to the subject of lists and time, i think alot of people are not computer literate(like me) and it's easier to use the list than try and follow the instructions about searching.
i have spent the last half an hour trying to figure it out and it's still double dutch to me but i will get there eventually.
had a blazing argument with my husband because he couldn't do it either and it's all my fault of course!
i have read the compers guide and several posts about it, i'll keep trying, i'll get there eventually.
i've had enough for now my little brains about to explode, too much information overload.

When you enter comps by e-mail, do you prefer to put the answer before or after your details. Which way do you think is best.
