No, it's a bit confusing really. The take a break puzzle magazines are entered at www.puzzlemagazines.co.uk and have their own thread on here but the comps from the main Take a Break magazine have a different website - www.takeabreak.co.uk and so are listed on individual weekly threads.

If they're the ones you want, then if you put the middle bit of the url in the search box - takeabreak - it should list them all for you :)

Is there an easy way to find all the latest competitions that have been posted in the last 24 hours ???

If you change the sort order at the bottom of the page from last post to thread start date then it will remove all the older 'bumped' posts and just leave you with the shiny new ones - I always comp that way, just work back to where I last stopped :D

Thanks CC :D I didn't know about being able to change the sort order :rolleyes2

It's just another comper said that she did it this way but I couldn't find everything using the search option...
So I sent her a pm a couple of days ago asking her how she did it but she must be holiday or something coz she's not answered it and she's usually on here everyday ???

No probs :) It's much easier and quicker that way, I don't know if you use FF or IE but in FF there's an add on called snaplinks. It means I open say 8 pages, once they're sorted by start date, then close down any I looked at the day before, and quickly do each of the pages. You just drag the mouse round all the links you want to open and it draws a green box.

I know that I haven't described that very well, but it's a great little add-on - because I can open all the threads in a page and just close them as I've looked at them and decided whether or not to enter, then move on to the next page. Much quicker than tabbing forward and back like you generally would in a browser :)

    hi, if you
go to tools, then click on add -ons
click in bottom right where it says get extensions
search snap links and it should be the first one on the list
click add to firefox and when finished it will ask you to restart firefox, do this and it should be working perfectly

Hope this helps and you can understand, I am never very good at explaing techy things :o
