Can't comment on the comps ending debate, as it's not something I generally look at. I have to own up though to hardly ever posting any comps, as I can rarely find any new ones to post. I do feel a bit guilty about it sometimes, but do try to be helpful otherwise.

I agree with you. I don't use the comp ending lists, to be honest I was completely against them in the first place. We managed for a long time without them and they have caused a lot of problems/arguments since they've been around. They've attracted a lot of new people to this board and you only ever hear anything from them when they win something. I definately think they are the main reason why my wins have all but vanished. I wouldn't be sad at all if they were to just disappear for good!

I have to say i totally agree. I do try and post comps up but most of the ones I find are already potsed, I do look for new comps though and always post if I find any new ones. I really appriciate all the people that do post lots of comps up :T

i always voulenteer to do a comps ending thread each month because its my way of helping out since I don't find many comps to post but I like to work my way through the comps myself without using the comps ending list, I do use them to check I have entered the ones I want but only because they are there to be used... part of me thinks it should just be tough luck if you miss any out esp if the lists are causing problems on the forum

I agree with you too........I enter as I go and if I miss a few comps, then so be it

I'm not trying to cause a arguement on here, but for those that do agree.. maybe you should not offer to do the comps ending..

Im proberly about to pee the board off..
But i bet our winnings would increase..

thing is though if we didn't do a comps ending list would the board get clogged up with unofficial comps ending threads from people thinking they are trying to help

I'm quite new to comping so I'm probably talking a load of rubbish but oh well lol...

I don't think so. If a rule was made not to do the comp ending lists anymore then everyone would have to stick to it. If anyone posted one then a bg would just delete it.

I only quickly glance at comps ending to make sure that I have not missed anything good, but wouldn't miss it, takes a bit longer to search all the old comps but that is part of the forum. I also own up to not finding to many new comps but everyone else is to quick for me and I will keep looking.
