Just made a batch of these with the children and we all love them!
Split up the mixture and added coconut to one half as I adore coconut I also reduced the sugar a little so that my 13 month old could have one as well.
They are just great. A sure fire hit in the house and I think they will be perfect for the school fete when I always struggle to think what to bake that won't cost a fortune and also do not take ages to make as time is of an essence with 3 children!
One big thanks to Twink!:D0 -
WOW !! I made :
Weetabix Brownies which were scrummy and my eldest loved them !!
Twinks hob nobs - there may only be 1 WW point per biscuit when you make 45 but if you then eat all 45 that's a lot !! - they are gorgeous though.
I also made Blueberry muffins which my youngest loved.
I am not trying t find a muffin recipe that is simple - they all seem to need yoghurt or buttermilk. I want to find one that is nice but uses basic storecupboard stuff.
I have printed the carrot ones and another and will try them tomorrow.
Thanks for the ideas peeps. It's not paranoia if they really are after you.0 -

Nice recipes everyone :T
You know the crumbs at the end of the cereal packet? I have quite a few of those and I was going to combine them all and make some sort of fridge cake. Not sure how to turn it into a tray bake with flour, butter etc.
Trying to use up leftocvers so with the cereal crumbs, I could add some semolina (been lying for almost a year...probably too dodgy to eat!!) some chopped nuts, then I'll have to buy some mini marshmallows (yum:D) and some chocolate.0 -
just seen ur post and next time you want to use up leftover cereal try this:
Grab whatever you like - marshmallows, cherries, digestives, biscuits, cereal, nuts, raisins etc etc, melt some chocolate (cooking choc is fine), press down into a buttered tray, and set in the fridge.
its different every time and usually turns out fab.0
