How long do they normally take to issue a cheque? I know the form says allow 28 days but in reality how long is it usually?

Also, do they send you a confirmation text of reciept of claim as CPW do? I ask as I sent my 1st claim off 3 weeks ago and haven't heard anything yet.

    Good Afternoon,

I can confirm that we have received you paperwork for the chequeback and this is being processed. A cheque was requested on the 27th May so you should recieve within 10-14 days of this date

    Thank you for contacting Phones4u

The reply - they seem to be on the ball!!!

  • Hi,

I'm comtemplating taking out a Dial-A-Phone contract (I think the company is owned by Phones4U?), and this is a cashback/redemption deals.

Can anyone please confirm that it is OK (i.e. there is no grief) assuming I do follow the T&Cs of the contract?

Also, do they tell you exactly which bill to send in? (looking at the site, it says send in Month 6, Month 9, and Month 12 - So i'm assuming whichever is the latest bill during the Month 6, 9, and 12 period since *connection* and not when you bought the phone).

    Many thanks

    Correct.

DAP is now a division of P4U.

beancounter- i would contact them as I have made 3 of my 4 claims for cashback for my current contract and in each case the turn-round time between me sending the claim and receiving the cashback and next voucher was about 2-2.5 weeks.

whilst they dont text you to notify you that they have received your claim i thought this was good.

Also agree with previous posters 60 days for claiming is generous, the form unlike CPW has clear claim dates on it.

IMO having dealt with CPW/e2save previously I found that their texts meant diddly squat in that it proves you submitted something to them, but it might not be the right something.

Hi, we always aim to process and issue cheque back claims within 28 days. If you email your full name, postcode and mobile number to the talktous@phones4u.co.uk email address, our Customer Relations team will be able to give you an update on the status of your claim. I hope this helps. Steve
