Str4berr3,
Sorry I haven't really anything helpful to add, but with my youngest (5), we leave the hall light on at night and when he opens the bathroom door that gives him enough light without really wakening him up.

I tied up my cord as the kids were forever breaking it by pulling on it too hard and now I leave the utility room light(lo-energy bulb) on all night.
That lavnav looks really cool though.

I think I have the answer!!!
Sometime in my 28 years as an electrical engineer, I'm sure I've seen conversion kits that turn the plate switch into a pull switch. The accessory fixes to the plate switch via the existing screws and a "rocking" mechanism operates the existing switch.
Now for the bad news..... I've just spent 20 minutes searching the net but can't find anything!
However, some good news..... Probably the best people to talk to are the charities such as Help The Aged, and any physical disability type charity. Who knows, if they retail them themselves you could even help a charitable cause when purchasing.0 -

Cheers YorkshireBoy!
But do you know if these switches are compatible with a twoway switching? (Double switch thingys magigs )0 -
Irrelevant - they clip/fix on top of the existing plate switch and require no electrical work at all.Str4berr3 wrote:Cheers YorkshireBoy!

i love the look of the lav nav, useful too for the big boys in the family. just must add, please don't forget new regs re kitchen and bathroom electrical safety. you are not allowed to change anything bar the light bulb, if in doubt, call an electrician.0
