Good idea pokey128. Maybe you could borrow pram? Just make sure you get a good car seat.....could be any day now! If you don't mind not having t carrycot a few of my friends recommend the Maclaren Techno with you can now use as a travel system. Plus pushchair suitable from birth.

    update!
After last nights posting I bit the bullet and bought this one from ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2008-SMART-3-in-1-STROLLER-Baby-Buggy-Pram-Pushchair_W0QQitemZ110260444455QQihZ001QQcategoryZ66700QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem got it for £138 which I thought was reasonable. It means that we have a "proper pram" which is what my partner really wanted and it may be good enough as a pushchair as well. Not 100% happy with the blow up wheels but i thought it seemed like a very good bargain!!
Comments gratefully received (but remember I have already paid for this so play nice!!)

As for the car seat - still not sorted there but as we don't have a car and will only be using one every few months I reckon it's not as important (obviously I want a decent one though!!) xx

    Hiya,

I have been looking on Kiddicare for a pushchair myself, and the one I have found is item code: KC06293 Also with not knowing if the baby would be a girl or a boy I thought it would be a safe option, and its very cute! Also its a bit cheaper than the ones you have picked. But out of the 2 you have picked I like the first one :o
