    There were a few nice gourmet cheese stands ..     i am telling you they are worth the money, the Scicilian ones are gorgeous.

    Why stay away from Wyke, i am like one of those children who will have to go there now!!!

    Tried a little of the mature cheddar ... Scary strong ... but nothing worth getting excited over ... Not sure about you but I like buying things you don't see everywhere ... Oooh ... and do try the Sloe Motion Gin ... I make my own Sloe Gin and it's even better than mine ... They even had Sloe Gin Chocolates ... but they were £9 a box ... :eek: ... I heard the chap do a deal with somebody though and they got £3 discount when they bought two items ... so it's worth applying a little charm and haggling (I hate it when people call it bartering ... that's when you swap a chicken for a box of chocs!) ... get hubby to practice the eyelashes ... :rotfl:

    I like mature cheese, but sometimes they get it wrong and its bitter. I am the same, new tastes and new items, ahhh sloe gin, I have been decidedly merry in the midst of winter on a drop of that!! :beer:

    There were so many drinks stands ... loads to try ... I tried a lovely whiskey liqueur ... it tasted of orange and chocolate ... go steady if you're driving ... :rotfl:

    I do hope you have a good time Borntoshop ... and please remember (I forgot) ... inside the front page of your 'Special Offer' booklet is a entry to win a VIP ticket for the GFS in November ... you need to complete and post it in the appropriate box while you are there ...     too late i know for those today but for those going on sunday, park at the train station. it's 2 quid cheaper, and easier to get out at the end of the day. it's roughly 10 min walk all inside on escalators & walkways to the halls.

    have a great day there it's well worth it.
