Hi Triker ...
Parking £8 in the NEC ... with free shuttle bus to centre ...
Show was quite good ... besides the 'extreme' couponing we did look a little at the food stuffs ... ... and the top of Gordon Ramsay's head ... (we couldn't afford all of him) ... There were a few freebies ... Muller yoghurts ... little pots etc of others yog's ... Carte D'or Ice Cream until it came of of your ears!
I spoke to a guy late on on the 'Snackberries' stand I think it was ... they had been giving away bags of Blueberries and had been swamped ... he told me would have to stay late to arrange a delivery of new stock for the next day ... really nice chappie ... but his stand looked like the locusts had been ... :rotfl:
On the food front ... I got some nice stuff ... there were plenty of varied gourmet stands to suit all tastes ... Italian .. Greek .. Turkish .. Indian ..

What a fantastic summary of yesterday’s events/couponing :T – I’m sure it will be very useful to people who want to attend the show this weekend. I don’t know how you managed to write it down last night, after such a busy day (I was knackered after the trip), so well done again, you’re a star! :T It was great to meet up with you, I had a fantastic time and thoroughly enjoyed our conversation. :A
I have found the show very good, definitely better than the Vitality Show. It was the first time I’ve ever been to the Good Food Show, and I was worried that I might not be able to get back in coupons the money I spent on travel and show tickets (I paid a ridiculously high price on the coach tickets – partly my fault, it’s a long story). I’m pleased to say that not only that I’ve managed to cover my costs, but I’ve also made a profit – thanks also to LittleBill, who kindly passed many of the coupons she found on to me :beer:
It was a great day out, looking forward to the November show already.

The car park is too far away .... you get a shuttle bus ...
I did not use the drop&shop however the website says nothing about a price so maybe it is free ...
