What were the tickets for the members room, from the Good Food mag? Not this months I guess, or I would run out to buy a copy.

I rang, very efficient, they put me through to the organisers, I can come and go as I like. The drop off is for purchases made there.

At the moment I'm not sure which of the shows (London or Birmingham) I'll be able to attend. I'll keep you posted though.

Hi,

I got these as a subscriber to Good Food and Olive mags (they were included in the loose ‘subscriber’s offers’ pages which accompanied my subscription copies), so I doubt they are in the mags available in store. They were not ‘proper’ tickets, but more like small pieces of paper which read ‘bring this coupon to the subscribers’ lounge at the NEC to take advantage of great offers’ (or something to that effect).

There are loads of good stalls ... My favourites were ...

Volo's of Italy ... Lots of sexy Italian 'lumps' of Salami .. Proscuttio (sp) .. Padano cheese ... Yumm!

The Garlic Farm had some great bulbs of Green/Fresh Elephant Garlic ... £3.50 a bulb I think it was ... We got our planting garlic from this company ... they have variety planting packs on the stand ... sorry forgot the price ... but the wild-haired guy behind the counter is very informative with growing advice ...

Look out for the Snackberries stand ... chap as I said was giving away little bags of blueberries ... but he ran out! ... He was a lovely chap and I am sure if you ask nicely and flutter your eye lashes (and that's just the boys) .. he will hand some over ...

Also do not forget to visit the lovely ladies on the Love Food Hate Waste stand ... they are like old-stylers gone bonkers ... and chocker with handy hints on all kinds off wonders ...

The Gourmet Med stands that are dotted about are good too ... I got a couple of loaves of bread .. one olivio one tomat' .. Have just had some for tea ... lovely .. even the day after! ... They also had loads of olives .. Greek salad etc .. saw lots of folk eating this out of pots ...

Ooh they sound yummo, the garlic does sound good, I am hoping for some cheese samples, love all the swiss, french, italian ones. Oh and hoping some sausages are around too. Will get hubby to flutter eyelashes!!!
