I can't wait-DS loves it as well-apparently when my mum was looking after him he hoovered a huge slice down so he can have a slice for his lunch tomorrow. It is really yummy so thanks for that-hope Monday went Ok for you and your family-it must have been a very draining day for you.

Had a rushing about morning when I had to do half an hours round walk with ds to preschool then drive to work-then three hours later had a half an hour's round trip to pick him up from preschool, give him a quick lunch and then back at nursery. I feel bad because I have to rush him when it's not his fault. Never mind-in January all the ridiculous rushing around around my work will stop and things will be a bit more calm and stable for him-except having a new brother or sister on the scene might stir it up a bit! I'm really looking forward to being able to walk him to preschool for his morning sessions (which will be free after Easter-yay!) and then sitting down with him for his lunch everyday. I'm sick to death of picking him up from nursery everyday and not getting him home till 6 when we have to just do bath and bed routine. I think having a week and a half at home really made me appreciate spending time with him-despite the potty training! never mind-my day off tomorrow(only worked 2 days this week so can't really claim to be too hard done by!) Just counting the days till pay day today. Put £10 of petrol in and hoping it lasts till Thursday-I know it won't though so will have to beg another tenner off someone. This month has been soooo hard for me-I just can't wait until pay day. On the positive side we are going to Cambridge on Sunday and using our £30 La Tasca vouchers for lunch out-DS has very adventurous food tastes and happily tucks into squid, olives, prawns etc so will thoroughly enjoy eating tapas with us and then we're going to do some free sightseeing in Cambridge-and stay away from the shops! No mystery shops at the moment but read on another post that ebay have no fees on items under 99p so may put some books on.

Last post was very brief as Ds was grabbing the mouse and demanding my attention! Had to go to TEscos to get a few bits to stretch until payday on Thursday- spent £6.01 which wasn't bad as I got bread, milk, pasta sauce, cheese, lettuce and tuna to get us through. Can't wait until Thursday as am getting a bit sick of pasta TBH! However by using the OS posts have got some nice tasty recipes that I will be using again to keep my food budget down. Got a preschool committee meeting tonight so we are having tuna pasta in tomato sauce with cheese tonight as it is quick! Am going to have to get £7 in petrol tonight to get me through the next few days until payday which I am a bit ticked off with but what can you do?

Pay day today-woo hoo-let's get spending... no not really-I'm being very careful this month-as I was last month but blooming car got in the way! on the brightside didn't increase my debts at all which makes a massive change from habits of old. Spent £36.07 on petrol and am going shopping tonight as am going to caravan in woolacombe tomorrow morning (sun deal!) should be fun with DS as he loves the seaside and it will be cheap because we eat in and make packed lunches. last caravan hols for a while until the new baby is a year old as i do find that the caravan is slightly damp for a baby under 1. Hopefully won't be too cold! Now going to plan a nice frugal shop-but not too drastic as my last ones have been-my oh is sick of lentils!

Had a fab few days away. We managed to grab the last bit of ok weather-Friday was lovely and actually managed to sit on the beach at Croyde (albeit in a coat!) and read a book whilst DS played in the sand happily and Saturday we went for a lovely walk on the beach in Woolacombe and perused round the seaside shops. Got some bargains in the little souvenir shops-stickers for DS for 50p and treated him to an icecream each day (after someone says ice cream icecream icecream for the 100th time that day you do tend to give in to the pester power!) we went to Ilfacombe aquariam on Sunday and had a lovely walk round the harbour so all in all a really good cheap break.Me and DH got on really well as well-had a really good laugh together which was great because previously we seemed to be arguing all the time.(he hasn't been very well and I've been just..pregnant really!) Now back again but feeling positive.

Tonight is shopping night-have meal planned and written my list already so hopefully can bring it in cheap. my mum and dad are coming over tomorrow so i'm going to make a lasagne and i'm also going to make some parkin for my work's halloween buffet on Thursday. Got a haircut booked in for tomorrow but to be honest have put it off for 3 months and can't delay it anymore! I look a bit dishevelled.
