A&L lost 3 R85's and are still taxing my interest

Hi, I have an A&L Esaver account but as it was recently opened (three months ago) I had to register an R85 for gross tax, but it has been two months since I sent the form in.
The first form I delivered to the branch, she refused to give a receipt. It wasn't registered.
I sent a second R85 form by fax to the number after speaking to someone at Alliance and Leicester. This too has gone walkies.
I then delivered a third R85 form to the A&L branch and almost two weeks later it too has not been registered against my account.
In 9 days interest will be paid again and tax will be deducted, again!! But they say I have to wait till next april to claim this back from HMRC (come on, that's almost a year away!!).
I said in a formal complaint letter I could prove I was in branch delivering the R85 in March by requesting a copy of the cctv under Data Protection, they are yet to send a full response to my complaint.
What would you do in this situation? Appreciate your thoughts/advice

Had a similar problem. Eventually got it resolved after a formal complaint and got £25 compensation. Just keep after them; they are hopeless though. If they argue they can't refund any tax deducted in this tax year, they're wrong - they will credit it to your account if you fight it.0

John is correct they can recredit the interest deducted for the current tax year instantly even if it means completing another R85 form.0 -
