I switched to SP today over the phone. The chap said that the 2011 fix was no longer available online as it's soon to be withdrawn but there was no probs signing up over the phone.
it works out 20% more expensive than my Eon variable deal but i had contemplated switching to NPower which would have been 36% more pricey!
I think 20% is a good 'guaranteed no higher' price rise for, in effect 3 years.
Fuel prices could go a lot higher yet!!

Thought people may like to know there still accepting people onto the fixed 2011 tariff.

Just got off the phone having made the move.

Only thing was the prices were not quite the same on the web site, but close enough to make no difference to the decision. (they were higher, of course). I have an IGT supply so there was no direct comparison on the web site but the numbers used were still different if you took that out of the equation.
