Hello
Weekend was really good we were in town by 10 and had a nice walk from Westminster to Embankment. We did stop off for a coffee and juice and cake in EAT which cost £4.05 which was nice as the sun was shining and DS could take pics of the river while i just sat and enjoyed coffee! (and a sneaky fag) Then we had a walk back over the bridge ready for our boat ride which was so much fun! Esp when you get pass Tower Bridge as they just let go and we were zig zagging all over the place, managed to get a small video on the camera of DS before i lost my bottle and was scared of either losing the camera or DS or both. We didnt eat at pizza hut and went to Pizza Express instead, food was great and only came in at £24.15 - used £10 voucher though and i managed to get a glass of wine too. So the whole day at £64.30! (Not such a cheap day) travel card was £6.10. The boat ride killed it and ive overspent. But im not to depressed about it DS and i did have a lovely day and he got some great pics on his camera.
We met a lovely tourist by himself and asked me to take a couple of pics for him which i did, he then said he would take some of me and DS and he took loads! Had us posing in loads diff positions on the bridge which was nice as we dont have many of just us two.
Will back back later or tomorrow to update on the last of Feb budgets and whats been paid with regards to credit cards etc.
Hope anyone who reads this is good! Esp you Nats - my only fan!0 -
Hi Angie!!
In all honestly..... I don't think that is a bad spend for a day out in London. Sounds like you and DS had a wonderful time (especially you and the cigarette and glass of wine!! lol) - did you go Sat when the sun was shining? A bit of 'time out' will have done you both the world of good and remembering it will give you that added bit of drive on the harder days!!
Hows the tooth now? All sorted I hope!!
Catch you later - looking forward to your next update!!start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225
end = Mon 28th Sept 2015 DEBT FREE!
I love a good plan - it may not work.... but I love a good plan!0 -
Right,
The debt collectors from Next have sent me a letter saying that they will half the debt if it is paid by the end of the month. Means instead of £1300 odd they will except £650. I really want to do this but it will mean slashing my budgets for March and i will need to use the avalible balance on my cards for food shopping etc and only pay min repayments to cards. Do I do it? Suppose i could as long as there were no emergencies in March. And i would have to cut my food budget to £50 - i could just about do this, need to check cupboards and freezer and maybe get over to the old style board this week.
So would anyone do this? It really would mean no spare money through march!
Help please!!!0 -
Hi Angie!! Haven't got much time right now.... but just wanted to check they had offered the redcued amount as a 'full and final settlement'!! ?

I havent included any money from cashback sites as im not to sure when it will hit the bank. This means march is going to be bloody tight and im going to have to come up with some cheap meals, ive already been re-reading threads in old style. Tonight Im going to write down what ive already got in and try and work around that, im also going to have to include lunches for me as there will be no spare money at all.
So tomorrow im going to pay next, at least it means im one debt down!0 -
Today is not going to well, didnt get to sleep til gone 2 this morning, well that was the last time i looked at the clock. Im still having problems with DS at school, and have been chasing up CAHMS for the school as he has been waiting now for 6 months, and finally the behavour outreach team are going to see him in March. I just hope they have some answers i really do, how can my nice, honest son turn so quickly once he is thorugh those school gates? I feel like i have to punish him constantly at home and be the evil mum. I bought my son up to have respect for teachers and adults at school but he doesnt have any, he just plays them, yesterday he was disrupting the whole class by sitting there saying, i hate miss x, i hate miss x until he was sent out of the room as he didnt want to do the work. He then went on the computers until science when he came back in as he wanted to the lesson. I told the school he should not of taken part in science! He should have been made to sit out of that too. But to be honest i think the teacher and i are now just butting heads
Anyway, i need to stop getting so stressed it causes me so many problems and i end up in a cirlce of no sleep / mirgrane / no sleep.
I havent managed to call next, as i was late this morning, and forgot the letter. Im still not sure that i can really afford to do this, but then again, can i really afford not to?
But as i couldnt sleep last night ive done an online order and it comes in at £65 not including and savings, found a free delivery code too, combined with what i already have in it should last the month, just need to top up on the usual bits like milk and fruit.
Hope everyone is okay?
