  • Morning Angie!!

I hope the pain subsides soon!! Did you manage to sleep last night? I have always found that the worst 2 pains are tooth and ear ache - to date, I think they are the only 2 pains that have reduced me to tears!! Dentists, they make you pay if you don't show up for your appointment, but they are always running so far behind schedule, you would have thought they would be glad for a couple of no-shows!!

What is it with budgets eh? I make mine weekly and I don't think I have managed to stick to it 100% since about week 3!! I have even increased the amount of money I allow myself for 'entertainment' and I still need more each week!! Oh well, at least I know what is in my bank now on a week to week basis...... I just used to keep spending until it wouldn't give me any more money!:D

You seem to be doing really well though!! :T Things will crop up out of the blue - but these things will now be dealt with rather than shoving them under the carpet etc!!! I must really have had lumps and bumps!!! lol

Have a great day and I hope you feel better soon, Nats x

Well toothache is getting a bit better now, hoping i can enjoy a drink without a straw soon!

I havent managed to re-arrange budgets yet but i still have money in 4k acc and im £326.25 o/d at the moment. Im not too worried about the overdraft at the moment as its my cheapest debt. I still need to make a payment to argos though and write to next about that account - i will ber able to print this at home now as my dad has passed his old printer to me as the ink was to expensive and instead he bought a new one  and he wonders why he has no money!

Forgot lunch again so might nip to the local tescos for a loaf and lump of cheese, mind you lidls is just down the road too, not sure if i can stick to budgets there though as they have so much nice cheese!

I am getting into the mind set again of every PENNY counts, which to be honest i need to.

I am planning a trip to museum of London on Sat / Sun with DS as i promised him in Jan. That will come from the 4k acc as i have £51 for spends/clothes. Not that i will spend that much as we will take lunches so prob just a travel card and maybe the gift shop.

Also yesterday the office (all 5 of us) had ready cooked chickens for lunch with Salad. And i managed to get the bones for stock - im sure they think im mad and tight with money. They went into the frezzer and i will make stock over the weekend.
  • Hi Angie.... Hows the toothache? Drinking normally yet? lol

Sounds like a good plan for the weekend. I wish I was just a little bit closer to central London - its only about an hour away, but the train fare usually cripples the budget!

Have a great weekend! I am off this weekend so probably not much chance to get on here!

Living close to london does have some advantages (20 mins to victoria on the train), but i cant wait to move out a bit.

    Morning,

Weekend was ok, didnt end up going to the museum as it turned out DS had been playing up all week at school, hadnt done one piece of work, so instead of going out he was made to do some work, well 3 hrs sat and sun. Hopefuly he will realise it is easier to do the work at school than it is at home as all i got was 'but mum, we only have to do 1 sheet of maths and one story' Oh well! Maybe he will realise one day its for his own good. Thank god for half term as at least i wont have any surprise calls from the school.
It kills me he cant get on at school and it doesnt get any better really, just calms down for a month or two then it all starts up again - I was so stressed on Friday, i just dont understand what im doing wrong :(

Good weekend for budgets, last DD's have gone out today and theres a whole £14.51 left. I still got £160 ish in 4k acc for food / travel / living. No cigg money though :( Will have to make what i have left last.

Also as its half term i can get a lift in with my dad, means im in at 7.30 and save £2.60 on train fares. So thats handy, just a shame it means getting up at 5.50:eek: But it is an extra 7.5 hrs at the end of the month which is £72 inc tax :j wont get this now though until my march pay. But it all helps.

    Hope everyone is ok :)

Nothing really major this week. Have drawn out £30 from my 4k acc for living / general expenses. Bought some milk and fruit yesterday, still have £38 left for food so that should be fine. Only have next week to go until payday, i am going to try and leave any extra money left from the food budget in that account as then i can always use it if there's good bogof's etc. And if its not used it can stay there for xmas food (sorry, i know its early, i cant believe i just wrote that) :o

So just the normal work and home bits. I might try and get a half day this week as DS is the only child at the childminders and it must be boring for him.

I also need to re-book doctors / dentist and osteo. But the last two cost money so will wait until next payday so i can budget for that.

Yay!! Extra money to put toward your debts!! Great feeling isn't it!!

I hope you manage to grab an extra half day or so with DS - that would be nice!

Hope DS has done all the work you wanted him to? I know my DSS doesn't appreciate having to do homework at the best of time. But when he sits down to it - its ok! Would rather play on his playstation though! lol

Catch up with you soon - things are mad at work and I am struggling to spend the amount of time I would like to on here!!

    hey nats :hello:

DS is getting there, i have taken it a bit easier on him since last night - he was sitting there in tears whilst doing his work - god he knows how to play me. I hate being horrid to him but he needs to understand that its just easier to get the work done at school - i have no idea why he wont behave / do the work at school and its been on going since year one really. I ment to be having meetings next week with both the council and the school. We will just have to wait and see what comes of that.

Not managed to get a half day, office manager got in before me  Never mind means i get to keep me holidays :money:

    Money side of things

I was being stupid yesterday and searching for a break to Disney Land Paris for the weekend £900 odd quid  - good news - i didnt book anything :j

But we really do need a holiday this year so have dug out all the camping bits that were bought 3 years ago  have made lists of what we need and searched for camp sites and am planning to have a 4 day break in August, if that goes well then we will have a weekend away in Sept / Oct. Just need to beg my lovely daddy to take me somewhere as i dont drive. I rekon i will need about £100 for the camping bits needed. One of the airbeds i bought age ago has broken and needs replacing and we will need gas / torches / table maybe

Not spent anything since Sunday either getting in with dad is great for budgets but i am already so tired. Cant wait until Friday, and the trip to the museum will def be happening this weekend.

    :j Morning :hello:

    Tis FRIDAY!!!

Budgets were kinda going ok until i booked the James Bond Experience on the Thames for Saturday, i did go through last min and got the cheapest possible and also went through quidco (£1.62). DS has had such a boring half term and im feeling guilty so plan for Sat is the boat trip/ride, Pizza hut for lunch (have a £10 voucher from pigsback) and then a wonder/walk around Trafalgar Square / admirals arch type of thing back to Victoria for the train home. DS wants to take his camera so he will love taking pictures. Oh and the boat ride includes a free picture as well :o Sad to say thats what sold it.

Im ok really for everything else, need to top up on shopping, just milk / fruit as DS is back at school OHHH and i need potatoes.

I am really looking forward to tomorrow with DS :j :j :j (yes, im just a big kid really)

Oh now to search for a map tomorrow as i need something to follow!
