Fed up of shill bidders!

I am a keen ebayer and am fed up with shill bidders, its unfair and makes a mockery of ebay, i am posting this link for reporting the users directly to ebay. I just hope ebay take this seriously and kick the users off!

What is shill bidding? Is it where a person puts up a listing and a friend bids on it?

When the user has two accounts and uses one to bid on his other items forcing people to bid higher.

you can look through the persons history, in the advnced search you can search the bids someone has made in the past, this usually makes it quite easy to spot.

It would be made more difficult to do if Ebay had tighter security i.e. knew who each registered user was.

If anyone wants to check whether they are being ripped off by a shill bidder feel free to pm me the details I will look into it and advise!! they do my head in!! nearly 6 out of 8 items I have looked at today there is some obvious shillers!! I was well chuffed the other day to report a shill triangle with at least 8 different people! 2 had big accounts with the 300+ feedback @ 100% and the rest were newbies!!! gotcha!!

I came across a blatant shill bidder last week. Reported them to ebay who cancelled the shill bidding account but not the powerseller account who was doing the shilling. I also notified watchdog who phoned me interested in the story. They are still considering doing a story on shill bidding but because they ran a big ebay story last season don't like to repeat themselves.
