Being a customer for 8 years has taught me their customer service is appaling. This includes contact centre workers blatantly lying to me and numerous appointments unkept. Finally got so sick of them this summer I moved.

Do you go to every post on this site and say "There are plenty satisfied customers of XXXX Ltd"? when they have had appaling service? Of course there will be satisfied customers with a company this big.

This one thoroughly dissatisifed one who would thoroughly recommend not going to BG for your central heating.

It's a long time since anyone has posted on this but here goes.

Have had service agreement for several years now and never had any problems. My only gripe is that's it's expensive (more than £150 a year I think) - anyone know of a cheaper one? I only keep it going as our system has been so unreliable in the past, but seems fine now. No call outs all last year (touch wood!)

I dropped my cover down to the Flexi cover where you pay a lower amount each month and a fixed £50 for each repair. So you save over the year if you don't have any callouts.
