    I agree with Luxor 100% where exactly does GROWMONEY think the parents got their house from? To say that an inheritence in her 60s will be of little use to her suggest that GROWMONEY thinks people over 60 dont have or dont deserve lives. So, things are "tough now" Things were tougher in the 30s, 40s, 50, and def tougher in the 80s. This woman needs to grow up.

    tough love re finances, but offer spare room (if available- its FAMILY!) until housing / benefits etc sorted..
    Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..
