Thanks everyone. The new job is really good.

fc123 - I meant in general, not to imply that you were hoping he'd fail.

PasturesNew - I've already got 2 assistants at this new place. I don't know what to do with them (no sniggering at the back please) let alone a third one! It's a shame as that's my kind of CV.
OK, so you have two assistants and don't know what to do with them.
Which means you need a Resources Strategist acting in the capacity of a buffer between you and them whose job it is to work out how best to utilise them to ensure you can slope off for long lunches and golf afternoons without anybody knowing.

The role would mainly specialise in collecting gossip that might harm you and then killing it and covering your 4rse where needed.

    :)

    Resources Strategist Wanted
Must be able to do stuff, make sure stuff is done, chase stuff.

I can do that. Gis a job.

    I'm not the one who's tighter than a gnat's chuff in a force 10!

    I'll never understand women.

they ask you out on a date and then expect to be served pepsi and chips...

Well, it might be all about how hard it is to get a job, even when you've been proactive in seeking one out and attempting to create your own position in life; especially through using any form of Old Boy Network you have access to.

Or I could just tell dirty jokes in it, with stick diagrams and arrows pointing to motion.

A bridget Jones / Liz Jones diary of life in Internet Land and the difference between Real Life Land; difference in how the same person is treated in ILand as opposed to RL Land.??
As the Aspergers makes RL Land really difficult but doesn't detract from the real person in ILand??
Got to shut shop now...will think some more...but only if you want?!
