Loophole! RAC cover for £11

Lost faith in Quidco, so I'd like to go with Rpoints. Does anybody know if Rpoints will match Quidco's £40 for Options 3 & 4?
Also, do I get cashback if I was a customer with RAC about three years ago? Been with AA since.
The fact you were a customer three years ago doesn't affect the cashback mechanism. Provided you sign up as a new customer the cashback should be yours (don't forget to clear cookies before doing it, just to be safe)0 -
Thinking of joining rac through quidco. Would also like husband to join. It is £33 for me single with £21 cash back or £55 for joint membership. Is there anyway of joining seperately and getting the cashback twice. (We only have 1 quidco account). If not will pay for joint as it is still a great deal for both of us.0

Rpoints will match a higher cashback rate, details here, however in this case Rpoints are offering 2200 points cashback (£22) for RAC anyway: http://www.rpoints.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=1089817

Thanks crabman. It's just that Rpoints only have the 2200 points offer, and not the 4000 points for the higher-level membership that Quidco are offering. Maybe I should ask Rpoints directly, but I always feel a bit cheeky when it comes to highestcashback requests!0 -

If you're looking at the RAC only, you can use tesco clubcard deals vouchers to get cover at a quarter of the price, full details are in the above article0 -
I wouldn't worry about asking for more -- they're making enough profit!!!
RAC are paying the cashback sites £35. This is on the understanding that they pay no more than £22 to their customers (for obvious reasons).
WePromiseTo broke the gentleman's agreement by offering the full £35; CashBackKings matched this (and I bought RAC cover at the £35, so was paid £2.33 for taking out cover that I wanted anyway, including credit card cashback). At that point, RAC decided to enforce their stipulation, forcing the cashback sites to reduce their payments.
If you can get the payout to £25 with something else (surveys, recurring clicks etc), rpoints is the one to go for currently if you are a new customer because of the free fiver for joining.
Point I'm making though is that there is plenty of profit to go around. RAC aren't going to cancel any of the payouts based on the amount of cashback paid out to customers!
There's always Green Flag next year as well, with a very similar offer from Quidco/CBK etc. This one though is 100% cashback so no killer deals like I got0 -
Hi
I just wanted to make a quick post to clear something up.
Obviously I can't speak for the other cashback sites, but at Top Cashback we certainly have NOT been getting more cashback than we have been awarding to our members. In fact the opposite - we have taken the risk and increased our cashback to match other sites out of our own funds - with only a possibility that the RAC will make good the difference to us.
If there is ever a stipulation that we can only award a certain reduced level of cashback, (which has only happened on very rare occasions in the past), then we make a note to this effect on the retailer page.
Thanks
Olly
