Well my daughters has arrived and I am pleased. She will love seeing her name and her friends in print and even though it is not a hardback book it looks lovely.

Great for the price and huge thanks to the OP
Its better to be late in this life than early in the next one.

  • STILL nothing here, not a happy bunny at the moment :-( Going away next week but if it hasn't arrived when we get back on 28th I will be contacting them as this is stupid now!

Have you tried to e-mail your concerns? I did and got a reply to tell me when my book had been despatached. When I still hadn't received it after 24 hours I contacted them again and he offered to get it re-printed. The contact e-mail address is acessed via the web page. Good luck and keep pestering them!

What made me laugh was the fact that one of my daughter's friends who I'm not so fond of.....is the horse. :rotfl: I know I know....that's bad.:rotfl:
I'm thinking of ordering this for my niece, who's Barbie-mad. However, I was wondering about how well the names sit in the story... Like do they match girls' names to female characters and boys' names to boys? Also, I don't want anyone to end up as a horse (that's a bit daft isn't it?), so how do I make sure no-one's the horse?

I can't get the Barbie site to work at the mo, so I can't see exactly what info they ask for, but for those who've already got the book, what's the best way to deal with the name dilemma?

(I've never bought one of these sort of books before so I don't know what to expect :o)

If I were you I wouldn't put boys names in it, it's definitely only for girls. The first name I put for my daughters friend was the one that was used for the horses name. If I remember rightly, the horse turns into a princess at the end. Not hundred percent sure as only had a quick flick through it.

I received mine yesterday, just in time for our niece 5th birthday - she loved it.
  • I emailed them, and they are saying, books are taking 7-10 days to arrive with customers, so it should be cool for christmas!! :j

Miine took 4 weeks to come, so good luck!! Wanted it for my mates little girl, for her 7th birthday, and was begining to panic, but received it begining of this week. When I emailed them, they didn't reply, so customer service a bit naff, but the book is lovely. Girls names only I'm afraid, oh, and a pets name if you like. :A
