My eldest was in a plaster cast from her armpits to her toes from 5 - 9 months old and the only things she could wear were 12-18mth dungarees with poppers. I found that the adjustable shoulder straps allowed for more room for her legs and any extra length could be tuned up at the bottoms. She had a few pairs of GAP dungers that lasted her for absolutely ages and ages, even when the cast came off..... they were a brilliant investment and would be perfect for all your big bouncing babies with bulky nappies.Just run, run and keep on running!0

Both of mine were 10lbs+ and 70cms long, i'm only 5"3!!, i never bought newborn stuff, always 3-6 months, even those were small!. They grow so fast at this stage so even if they are a little bit bigger its not a worry. I agree that babygrows are the way to go unless we are going out or something, easier to wash if they are in one colour as well.No one said it was gonna be easy!0

Aw, thanks. He is sweet, even when he's crying I laugh at him sometimes as he's so cute. (He does a great line in petted lip.) Then I feel guilty!
Please post a bigger piccie, I keep clicking on it to get a better look.0 -
At the other end of the scale, Mini bun was born on his due date and was 5lb 2oz, which meant that everything that wasn't premature or 'early baby' was just huge and he got all caught up in them. Some of the 'advance' summer clothes he was bought for 3-6mths were too big until the weather was too cold to wear them, which was such a waste. I would get an emergency pack of three babygros/vests for the first day at hospital in a middle size and then get any others when the baby is actually born - most supermarkets open 'out of hours' so a visitor can get them for you. The ebay bundles are fab, I have just managed to get two bundles in near perfect condition that will last the next year for £40 including delivery. Some are unworn. In the event that I have a girl next time around, I will buy from Ebay and won't go near the shops at all.
Good luck with bump!Annabeth Charlotte arrived on 7th February 2008, 2.5 weeks early0
