Awwww pigpen, hope you manage to get an appointment and that it's not diabetes, will keep my fingers crossed.

I haven't got as much done as I had planned today. Had a rough night with DD2 last night, so am pretty tired today, also she decided only to have a 15 minute nap instead of 2 hours when DS was at nursery this morning!! As a result she's been a bit cranky the rest of the day. I forgot as well that DS had football practice after I'd picked DD1 up from school, so that was another hour gone that I thought I had. There just aren't enough hours in the day!

Dusty.. it is NEVER too early for alcoholic beverages!!

Beat me to it! My rule was always never before 10am pre children, it is now never before 6am.

Pigpen, hope you sort out what it is suitably quickly. Diabetes on both sides here so we know what the implications are - and the answer is mostly manageable. I am borderline myself and am ok as long as i stick to a sensible diet (says she who has scoffed £3 of Thorntons today).

I had a suprise day off today as my coventry client cancelled my meeting. Been a bit down so I had a nice selfish day sans children. The joy of food shopping without children....

On the negative side I have to find the dog shampoo (stinky horrid dogs) which is somewhere under all the junk in the storage corridoor. At least if I go though my old posts and look at the photos i might have an idea of where to aim for! The contents of the pantry are behind the contents of our bedroom, I keep telling myself that this place will be lovely when its finished -but do I really want 20 years of CHAOS?

Am feeling a bit  . The neighbour that ignored me the other day - I now have her 3 kids in my backgarden. 1 came over and said is it ok if I come to play till 5, just looked out there and all 3 of them are on the trampoline.

Are you still looking after half the neighbourhood, shell? I'm  on your behalf. I will jump on a train to England and slap her!!!!

pigpen - hope you get DS2's appt at GP ok.

Well, I made a start on Thursday as well. DD is heating up custard and is putting peanut butter in it (she told me as I am constantly telling her, 'how do you know you dont like it if you havent tried it'!!!!) I'll report back lol.

I've got my Dad's car, so I'm tempted to nip down to Tesco and check out the whoopsied section. Then tomorrow morning, I'll do Lidl and Sainsburys. I think the football will be rubbish tonight, I'm sorry to say. Like last year's FA cup final. Hyped up for weeks and then both teams will be too frightened to do anything. Paddy power have got a special on, if Ronaldo scores in 90 minutes, losing bets are refunded. I might stick a fiver on Chelsea :)

Most unfair! last pregnancy didn't give a monkey's about alcohol, this time round I could quite happily have drunk myself silly most nights! Craving alcohol is a bad thing  and I'm very much looking forward to being able to indulge again.
