Right, time to tackle the mountain of ironing. I'll be longer than HH I think, so I'll watch last nights episode of The Duchess. I was so knackered after looking after LO last night I was in my bed at 9! I switched off all the phones and decided to get up when I woke. I got up at 8.15 feeling fab. Long may it continue hee hee

I watched it last night and whilst I thought the programme offered nothing new (similar to Honey your killing the kids) do have to say I really liked Sarah. She seemed really honest about her demons and came across really well.

    Quick update

    bathroom done
    Lounge S & S
Hall - mirror and pics polished
Hoover - got it out just need to use it - lol!

Will run hoover round and then will be time to collect DD2 - hope she cheered up!

Kaz, I hope today goes better for you. That is a horrible thing to happen to you. Some people have no idea the effect their mouths can have on others. So many people react and open their mouths before using their brains!

I just have one teenager in the lounge today so I am going to try to do some dusting and plant rescuing. I think one of my plants is suffering from lack of water. The plants were DD's job, but as she is no longer here I had forgotten about them.

    My own list for today
    • Dust lounge
    • water plants
    • Sort out passport applications
    • Weed for 15 minutes am and 15 minutes pm
    • sweep hall and stairs
    • [STRIKE]clean downstairs loos-one done[/STRIKE]
    • Put DSs clothes away or maybe out of the window, haven't decided yet!
    • Research heating systems for barnAll very expensive.
    • 30 minutes accounts for tax return
    • Sort out more things for e bay
    • Order paint for lounge
    • Re write menu plan for month as running out of food rapidly
    • bake bread
    • wash lounge winter curtains before storing
    • clean front porch
    • sort paperwork 15 minutes
    • read Martins' pages on wedding planning on a budget
    • [STRIKE]Cancel SKY TV after tomorrows game[/STRIKE]
    • Ring brother in Australia
    • Use my mobile for all calls as only used 120 out of 400 minutes available!!

I'm sure I'm not meant to fly today  There I was tidying up the desk, multi-tasking putting pens and stuff away and I picked up the holepunch and somehow I managed to holepunch my index finger - swearing would be an understatement!:eek: I have no idea how my finger got in there and I can't figure out how looking at the punch now. Its not pretty and in the worst possible place for a right-handed touch typist!

So now thats all covered up and when it stops throbbing I'll attempt to do something, I'll tell you one thing though - its making touch typing interesting and my spelling is awful now! :rotfl::rotfl:

 Ouch Nicki - bet that made your eyes water. No idea how you managed it. Always the same though, if I burn myself its always on the fingers so makes life very uncomfortable for a few days.

Well little pick up and currently eating lunch watching Tweenies. I have just scoffed the soup I made and it was lush! Very tasty for a weight watchers recipe.

Hoovered through before I left to collect little un so think I will prep the veggies and spuds for the roast I have planned for tea tonight. Also need to pack a rug, camera, drinks etc so we can go watch DD1 sport day.

    Best crack on I guess:D

ETA - I wonder where the regular flyers are?? Very quiet on here again today.

Nicki, that looks painful. If you lived here you could go into the minor injuries clinic and they would pop it and bandage it for you. It's not much good for touch typing but it could ease the pain.

I have now got rid of last teenager from the house so I can concentrate on the lounge in peace.

Nicki.. I'd pop it with a pin (or chew it to death).. (you are meant to pop blood blisters!) and slap a plaster on it for a bit.. looks mighty sore though!!!

I've spent the morning at my mothers and the last 45 minutes on facebook & sorting my post... I am now going to fling Tiddles in bed.. and make a bit of floor in my room.. I need to hang out a mound of washing too and get some more in.. and wash the winter coats so they can be put away until October hopefully.. some are being bagged up for a friend who has children between all mine.. we are aiming for a bag of clothes swapping session.. I get stuff from her DS1 and DD1 and she gets stuff from my DS1, DS3, DD1 and DD5... lol.. win win!! I have some stuff will probably fit her too!!
