    Only other credit is my Vanquis.
    Also have a settled Provident loan on Experian report

    Oh yea i have Provident as well, Do you think that will improve my Credit?
    I can't get Vanquis yet. I applied back in September and got declined so i'm now waiting until Feb fingers crossed!

    My brother used First reponse finance and they were really good and the APR wasn't to steep either he says.

    Having Provident reporting can't do any harm.
    Mine shows as sttled, £38 per month over 13 months so must show a willingness to pay or a new leaf.
    I got turned down by vanquis first time I applied which was about 2 years ago, this time though, no phone calls, no letters just the card dropping through my door about 2 weeks after applying online.
