Tesco, Petersfield

Ordnance Survey Explorer maps, £7.49 on sticker (normal price sticker, not a tesco one!), scanned at £7.50. CS said she would get right on to it (Hardly ever find a misprice at Petersfield). But still got 4 maps, and £30 reduced! Woman at first offered me the difference - had to point the policy out to her, she didn't know much about it so had to get supervisor over!

Might be the same in other stores though? They're by the magazines (I didn't even know Mr T did maps!)

these have a yellow SEL saying discontinued 99p, shelf full of them with stickers 1.39, the stickers actually say four choc muffins so obviously a mix up there, refunded no problem

:xmassmile This afternoon Indian Takeaway meal for 2 (in brown paper bag) from Tesco Extra Deli counter charged £5.70 but A4 card listing all the prices on counter said £5.10. CS rang Deli(not Dehli!) to check and gave full refund - invested £2 on tonight's lottery.

Hiya folks,

Just home from Tesco Extra, Kingsway Dundee with 3 packs of large Sirloin Steaks priced at £7.98kg with not just one but two SEL's with £7.48kg on them. One large white label infront of the steaks and one small label on the shelf itself.

Customer service - a young girl didnt understand the concept of price per kg even after trying to explain it to her serveral times. Note i went with her to get the SEL just in case. Off she went to check with a manager who confirmed the error funnily enough and there was more than one left on the shelf so its not as if i was being greedy and i did buy the pastry for my steak pie there too at full price!! (yeuch to turkey even if its in cranberry sauce, gravy, curried or covered in mayo in a lovely seeded bun aka sarnie)

Whilst processing my R & R she then asked why i never informed a member of staff when i realised the pricing error and let it go through the till at this price - my reply "Didn't realise it was my job as a consumer to inform you of your errors" - Was a little miffed at her attitute - can you tell ?

SEL's now removed - SOZ but the price went up last week so there maybe one or two SEL's lurking around that can help you.

may be worth checking the smaller stores still for this one. CS took SEL.

The price has reduced on Lean Braising Steak, SEL's show 1.48 a Kg but some packs are still showing 1.78 a Kg.

watch out for strawberries, Large SEL shows 2.99 but small ones show 2.98, they scan at 2.98
