mrpastry wrote:Word of warning, the disney BOGOF dvd offer finished 23/10/05 on the stickered stock, less observant Tesco staff might give you a refund though,I thought I was on a winner but the C/S said about the date...... Grrrrrrrrr, just got a red face,a refund and a little dig about not beeing able to see the small print on the sticker because of the security case LOL
I found the last 2 stickered 2-4-1 disney DVD's in Gallows Corner. Took it to CS who refunded with an apology. You should stick to your guns if you manage to find these in any of the stores, as it's obviously an overcharge, despite the offer being out of date.
I got 'Ice Princess' and 'Heffalump Halloween', should keep the sprogs amused for an hour or 2 at half term.0 -
Tesco Brislington, Bristol
Nestle Munch Bunch 18 x 42g (the diddy ones for my toddler) SEL £1.99 charged £2.48 at till.
Hipp Organic Baby Food Jars Stage 3 SEL 4 for £3. I bought 3@£0.91 and 1@£1.05 (15-month Organic Vegetable Lasagne 275g) and was charged the full price. Customer Services explanation - 4@£0.91 will be charged at £3 and 4@£1.05 will be charged at £3. Jars and offer labels on same shelf so CS refunded £1.05 due to confusion."We have to be kind because everyone is fighting a great, great battle" - Sir Richard Attenborough

Normal weekly shop
The usual Tesco Wensleydale 3 for £3, £1.24 on pack , £1.19 on SEL, scanned at £1.24
Tesco Smoked Wiltshire cure back bacon rashers (8) pack price £2.06 SEL £1.98, scanned at £2.06
Tesco Fresh British Pork Shoulder (Small), pack £2.29 / kg, SEL £2.28 / kg (got 2 of them, left some for some other MSE's)
Got refunded on all, though CS girl did point out that the pork was only a penny out, but an overcharge is an overcharge
It's nice doing business with such a generous shop :rotfl:0 -
Just been to Tesco and got some cropped trousersmarked and scanned through the till at £10 reduced from £18. Notice above says "All sale half price or less" so went to CS desk where they offered me £1. Thanks to this site I asked if r&r no longer applied to clothing, Superviser murmered to sa "she`s right so came away with the trousers and a refund for £20 instead of 10! Thank you MR T and MSE0

Thanks to everyone for this thread. I am now checking till receipts, which is somwthing i never did before. I've just looked at todays and have not been given bogof for cup-a-soups, I also bought 2 pizzas which are priced at 2 for £4 but was actually charged £2.19 each (these are from the fresh cabinet, meat feast ones). So I guess its a trip back to lovely Tesco tomorrow for a refund.0
