  • I saw a CS with a customer beside the Tesco's smart price red grapes. They are in a plastic box not the bag. He had obviously been overcharged as I heard her saying she would give him a refund. Don't know what the price on the SEL was as she took it away. I think she spotted me, she probably thought I'd put him up to it as she knows me from previous refunds. For once it was nothing to do with me. :rotfl:

Ooh - my first ever! Lynx Africa Dry ROLL-ON - label saying 2 for £3 and they went through at £1.88 each. Also got bacon placed on wrong shelf = misleading. Total shop was just over £50 so got my 5p off petrol, then almost £10 back at CS. I'm a convert! This was in Bromley-by-Bow Tesco. No customer scanner available tho.

    Maidstone Lunsford Park today.
Mixed packets priced £2.98 and £3.09 but big long term price promise on SEL says £2.98. Unfortunately, they are 2 for £5 so could only get one pkt at £3.09 with cash refund no quibble.

Saw the Tesco's Finest Emmental at Tesco in Ashby today. Pack price £8.99 per kg, SEL £8.65.

Did not get any myself as I still have 2 packs in the fridge but somebody else might want to bag few free packs tomorrow.

Got this Emmental today - about 20 packs on shelf , all at 8.99 per kilo. Oxon

I got 2 x Finest Topside Roasting Steak today (Branksome, Poole) SEL £6.69, PACK £6.99. Total refund £13 something and 2 lovely chunks of meat! CS was charming and smiled saying "bet that will taste even nicer!"

Meat staff changed SEL whilst I was there to the higher price.

I cannot believe that this CD is still mispriced!
Does anyone communicate with each other in this company.
My wife picked another one up today in our local store that was "out of stock" early last week! Not "hit" them myself this week yet!
    SEL £5.97 Scanned £13.97

    A Cambs store.

  • Gammon & Parmesan in Norfolk today.

Unbelieveable that they're still getting the Gammon wrong. Got three smoked ones from Gt Yarmouth and then went into Caister on way home (Other store had no baby milk) and found two misprised unsmoked gamon joints priced at £4.10 when sel was £3.98 (not per Kg, per pack).

Parmesan also. Both stores had yellow labels on packs showing a price reduction from £17.58 (i think) per kg down to £17.08. Then there's this great big yellow POS self label saying £13.08 per KG. I was amazed that BOTH stores had exactly the same mistake.

Have never tried the CDs. Bit of a luxury right now with money being tight and I wouldn't fancy it going through at the right price.
