I was just about to post about the Fimbles DVD!!!!!! Just got one for DS.

Chicken breast kievs SEL £1.99, but some newer stock going through at £2.99.

But, what an ordeal!!!!!!!! to follow on discussion thread.

Basement Jaxx now scanning at the poster price.....walk away


From my limited experience I wonder if the poster gets delivered on mon after the new chart and they put it up straight away,but lots of Tescos offers start on a wed.............just a thought.

Must be alert next mon and tues and make use of it if my theory is right.

Think it may just be chance - have just got (today) 2 cd's - whitestripes and sterophonics, poster prices 7.97 and 8.97, still scanned at 9.97

Strange I got Basement Jaxx again today, after doing a further two stores. As well as all the other CDS listed thats 5 extras in two days total £350 of CDS

Finest Swiss Emmental £8.99/kg - more than SEL (must remember my pen!)
Pork British Shoulder joint £2.69/kg - more than SEL (must remember my pen!)
Pork Outdoor Bred Boneless Leg £4.06/kg - SEL less - (Ditto).
Pork Outdoor Bred Chops £6.08/kg - SEL £5.08/kg (Like last night).
Beef Finest Topside Joint £6.99/kg - SEL £6.69/kg - Remembered that one!

That's it for a while as no more Fridge/Freezer capacity!
I have enough pork to make a pig! £46.26 from £56.17 refunded!
Got a 5p off per litre petrol voucher for spending £50+.

Ooh - Not a misprice but the PG Tips with the free Gromit mugs are going fast!
Looks as though they have one boxed pallet per store.

just been into weston super mare and managed to get 4 cds
saturday night fever till £13.97 shelf £5.97
basement jaxx till £9.77 poster £6.97
stereophonics till £9.77 poster £6.97
razorlight till £9.77 poster £5.97
no problems with the refund, but the entertainment section manager was not happy with the staff who are meant to check the prices, and she was going on the war path.
this is the first time i have found any of the cds mispriced even though i keep checking, so thanks very much to all who posted

Last night....
saturday night fever CD: shelf £5.97 scanned £13.97
Scooby Doo & arabian nights dvd: sticker £7.97 scanned £9.97
razorlight and basement jaxx cd's were still wrong on Tues but corrected by Weds.

They have put new security stickers on all of the boxes now so I think they took the opportunity to remove old stickers too as scooby was all we could find that was wrong in the DVD section.

Got a free Ella dvd today SEL £8.46, but scanned £8.97 another one for the Xmas stocking
and butter basted chicken (the ones you cook in bag) SEL £2.99 scanned at £3.99

Tried most of the CDS already mentioned, and they all scanned correctly, there were one or two I couldnt scan 'cos they put the security tags over the barcodes and when I asked at the till they said they arent allowed to check prices anymore!! Nothing stopping them from putting it through and then voiding it off , so I assume they just couldnt be bothered taking it out of the security box to do it for me.

Yippee! My very first overcharge refund success with Saturday night Fever twice (great Xmas pressie for old fogeys), Cust Serv lady very nice and even argued with the manager on my behalf. The only other time I tried (for beef, at another store) old dragon insisted that only the white SELs counted, not the yellow reduction ones as people could move them. She was quite unpleasant and put me off trying again for over a month.

Went to my local tesco store in Lurgan (northern ireland)
Heinz 400g soups on offer @3 for£1 or 56p each
multi saver only deducted 12p
so got £1 ,68 refunded
