Yes, the poster reduction prices are mostly(not all) wrong - all around Cambs again, but had unpleasant covenly vibes from the collected CS Fulbourn women, whispering away that 'she came on Saturday'. I was asked to fill in my name and address on a refund slip, and not given a credit card refund slip as usual. I asked for one, but was told the return note on my original receipt was sufficient.

Tesco must realise it is not alert customers' fault if Tesco fail in their housekeeping procedures.

I realise this is perhaps more for discussion area but would appreciate advice on whether or not I am obliged to provide personal details.
Ben 500 & Mr Smartprice will probably tell you exactly but IIRC some tiome earlier on this thread someone asked Tesco...........and it is policy that they ask, but you are not obliged (or feel obliged) to provide the details. It should have no affect on the refund.
  • Good morning to all.

Apart from all the other cd's posted look out for, Charlotte church & jo o'mara.

Just had some 'outside bread' pork loins 4 in a pack, most of the packs show £5.08kg sel £5.08kg but if you have a look at the packs some are priced at £6.08kg, and some of the pork joints are still mis-priced, i did tell the store on monday morning about this but there still there, Price integraty............yeah whatever!!!!!!!!!!!

Tried Charlotte Church cd this morning but couldn't get it to scan on self-scanner so gave it a miss. Other cds all right prices from what I could see - Worcester WV.

Just got back from Mr T at Ruxley corner, Sidcup they had the following misprices
Finest cheese mature cheddar and cheese with apricot bits SEL 9-95 pack 9-99 scan at pack price
Finnest Emmental cheese pack price out by 2p (higher)
finest mature stilton sel 7-99 pack pric 8-30 scans at pack price
Unsmoked bacon joint sel 3-38 pack 3-42 scans at pack price
Beef rump joints shown at sel on offer at 5-19kg pack shows 6-99 scans at pack price
Comfort (softner for washing) sel at 99p scans at 1-44
Went to CS and pointed out errors and they called the meat and produce manager who was very nervous.Tried to refund the differrence on the price but I pointed out the policy they have and he said they would refund the total. However he went off to remove all the sels. The finest cheese has now been mispriced for 2 weeks there !
I actually made a list as I went around and sat and compared the prices on the till receipt. A few items were also under, cherry toms 10p cheaper as were the BOGOF 4 pack Sunblest muffins 66p sel 76p
I hope the misprices are nationwide

    Exactly so, robd831.
These misprices are both repeated or uncorrected in the first place. Wrong SELs may be removed but it is astonishing to find them replaced, incorrectly priced, once more.
On discussion thread, I've just put three excellent posts from ben500, robin7667 and whirly.
Please thank them if you agree.

Another little bargain for the Stocking Filler post on Grabbit Thread.
Proper exercise skipping ropes(not the novelty ones posted earlier)reduced from £3.52>44p

Managed to scan the Charlotte Church CD and it scans at the lower poster price....so put the Charlotte down and step slowly away!

Picked up Dido though, scanned at £5.97, poster price £4.79 - bit of debate about the wording of the policy, which states "on the product or shelf edge label", CS "Team Leader" insistent that the chart poster did not apply as it wasn't the shelf edge  Got there in the end, after 20 minutes or more waiting for one breed or another of Manager to make a judgement.

Well done, Addy - looks as if we'll have to wear our pachyderm coats from now on - just as well winter's coming on, although Indian Summer continues...just.

    Hi,

My first post so hope plenty of people can take advantage.

Just been to Tesco Metro Covent Garden.

The pre-packed sliced meats are price marked at 3 for £4.

But the offer finished yesterday so no discount given at the till.

I received a full refund of £4.74 and got the meats free.

Tried this in local tesco today and only the chicken was going through at full price so be sure to include a chicken as one of your packs or you`ll end up paying for all 3.
