Tesco misprices thread - please only post misprices here

Do you think this policy applies to online shopping as well? my son needed some brylcreem hair gel so i added it to my tesco shop, i was well surprised when it came up as 1.27 as it is 3.15 in boots so i added about 10 of them, however i was in a rush and saved the order to complete today. when i checked on the website the price is now 2.27 but in mybasket the total for 5 shows as 6.35 making it 1.27.

they do say that you can request a refund if they overcharge you so i am just wondering whether i can get a refund as i orig thought it was 1.27 AND keep the hair gels?

As far as I know you can't for an online shop - they will just credit the difference.

Thankyou very much. I have watched this site for a while now and have benefitted from some of the bargains posted.

Today I had to register following my success today!

Sony Wega 15" LCD TV was advertised with big yellow Sale sticker at £269.77 but ended yesterday. The full price is £349.97, which is what I was charged at the till.

Straight to CS where no fuss was made but the female Manager who was the most miserable person I have met this year had a face like a bulldog chewing a wasp. Apparantly she is like that all the time according to the lovely CS girl who dealt with the overcharge and was actually very pleased with my free purchase.

Tesco's and you lot out there, thankyou very much :-)

P.S. Yellow sticker was removed by CS in the Alloa branch.

Extras DVD - sel £7.47 charged £12ish in Irvine store today.

Thought it was my lucky day as they rarely put out the CD posters and when I went today there they were and with loads of misprices, was filling my basket with a nice selection when 2 sales assistants came round discussing a misprice and whipped all the posters from the wall.

On another note, loads of the £20 daleks were available if anyone's still looking.

This one's odd, as I exchanged Extras DVD yesterday. When CS scanned it through the till, it showed at £7.47. Luckily, I had my receipt, so was able to exchange to the value on that (£14 odd).

correctly priced at the Meadows in Camberley/Sandhurst, as were most of the DVDs and CDs I saw - well done Tesco! However, I wish I'd realised it was on offer as its a quite good TV isn't it!!

Kaiser Chiefs.Employment SEL £9.77 this weeks poster £7.97( poster offer starts 26 Dec)Also got Housework songs.
Tomatoes, loose, special offer 44p /kg, scanned 49p/kg. These were right at the front of the store in big bins, a seasonal clearance.
Got the Clash as well from a sticker. I think black eyed peas might be wrong as well from poster. Which is now down in the 24hr store and wasn't upthe town centre store neaar me.

Went to my local tescos in New Milton tonight and spotted 50 pack x52 Mr DATA CD-R's 7.97 on box 9.97 SEL... Scanned at 9.97 thank you very much. Just what I need to back-up all my new CD's I got for Xmas :-)
