    Hi,

does anyone know if I'll be ok ?

I was going with a friend who isn't coming anymore - we are both on the same reservation number with online check-in so will it be ok if only I check-in online and not the other person.

I've read the website info and it doesn't seem to answer that question .- anyone been in same situation ?

    thanks Anne

It'll not be a problem. Just check yourself in. I did this 2 weeks ago when a friend couldn't travel as planned.

  • Following on from this:

I have recently booked for a short break in Dublin. I didn't think the hand luggage would be enough space so paid the extra for two of us to have one item of luggage each.

The cost of checking in with one bags was the same price as the flights!

Has anyone thought about sending the bags using UPS/parcelforce before the journey, to arrive the same day as the flight arrives?

Might work out cheaper as we could use the on-line check-in - then again might not be worth the hassle!
  • This is wierd! We have just booked a 9 day trip to Spain. I realise now that we have to print off the boarding tickets less that 5 days before. Do we get an e-mail to say they are ready? Or how do we access them?

Also are we right in thinking we have to print the return ones off during our stay? That means we have to find a PC and printer AND remember what internet address to use. Advice appreciated!

    Thanks for your time.

You don't get an email to say that the boarding cards are ready. You can access them at anytime between 5 days and 4 hours before you fly.

You will need access to a pc and printer while you are away in order to print the boarding card/s. You go to Ryanairs website http://www.ryanair.com/site/EN/ and on the right hand side you will see a heading "Online Check-In". Click on it and follow the instructions. You will need your Confirmation Number, the credit/debit card that you used to book the flights, OR, the email address you used to book the flights.
  • If you don`t get the cards to come back then you will pay 4 or 5 euros each to check in at the airport.
