Ryanair online check in

We are thinking of going to Spain for a short break of 3 days later in the year.

I'd like to do the online check in with hand luggage only, obviously I can print a boarding card at home before I go but how easy is it to get hold of a PC and a printer abroad to do this?

Site says we have to check in online between 2 days and 4 hours before travel.

Also, as we don't have an Electron card, would it be a problem if I used my son's?

TIA

If you are only going for 3 days, you can print your return boarding pass before you go - up to 5 days before your flight.

yeah we did this too, it is so easy and hassle free! I highly recommend this! Not sure how you would work it if you were going for a week though? perhaps the hotel might do it? hmm saying that, I did see a few internet cafe's knocking about when I last went!

As other people have said, you will be able to print your return boarding pass before you go.

With regards to your question about your sons electron, that will be fine too. I book all my family and friends flights for them on my electron to avoid the ridiculous rip off credit card charges. Taking only handluggage, checking in online, and using electron to pay saves you a fortune with ryanair.

Hope that helps, & have a nice trip,.

Must admit think the online check in is absolutly brill

went to Dublin last year (Dec) would of missed the flight but for the on line check

its a long story, but basiclly I managed to get on the plane with minutes to spare

if I had not done the online check, my trip to Dublin would of never happened

would recommend the online check in to anyone, you don't need your own PC you can check in on anyones for both journeys
  • i've probably missed something but how is it that you can check in for your return flight before you set off if you are going for over three days?

    thanks for your help :o

you can check in online up to 5 days before you fly! so provided you are going for less than 5 days you can check in and print off your boarding pass before you go. if you are going for longer then 5 days then i would suggest you make sure there will be facilities to print off your boarding pass!

AFAIK Ryanair changed the online check-in limit from 2 days to 5 days earlier this year.
