Can anyone recommend which of the print styles Epson offers produces the best results?
I requested the canvas(16"x12") for a soft focus style portrait of my daughter. It looks great. Very impressed with the quality. It cost £20 to get it framed well worth it."Food has replaced sex in my life. Now, even I can't get into my own pants."0 -
I know its stretching the point but this is sposed to be free.
There is the cost of your cd & postage, hence by definition it is not free. Although undoubtedly a good "low cost" option.:eek:0 -

The 'fine art' paper is good.... thick, heavy quality and produces a nice crisp image.
BTW they are closed til 10th Jan.Nice to save.0 -
if you ask, they will send the cd back to you, i enclosed a letter and a stamp for them to do so and they sent the stamp back and my cd with a note saying they were more than happy to return my cd, and if you use a cd-rw you wont be wasting it. plus cd's cost pennies! as for postage, when you consider a 1st class stamp for less than 30p and how much they would charge for the print and the cost to them in ink, paper (which isnt much for a company like them) and the postage back to you, not to mention the amount of people who have probably ripped the !!!!!! out of the offer, i agree, for 30p its a bloody good "low cost" option, practically free ::) (as i only live down the road from epson anyway i could probably get it 100% free by just dropping the disk through the door - im sure it would get there in the end)I know its stretching the point but this is sposed to be free.

Ikea do lovely frames (including mount) for a 16"x12" print - £10.

I usually combine with an excellent and extremely cheap 16"x12" (digital equivalent of 18"x12") print from Pixaco:
Photo Poster 18x12 £1.64 ;D

Have framed 3 of my enlarged photos from South America, and they look great up in the lounge

Just a reminder that the Epson free print sample offer is still going strong. Send in your image on CD to get an A4, A3 or, (best of all), A2 size print sample. The size you get depends upon the pixel size of your image. You also get to choose the type of paper used.

Thanks for the reminder Allexie. I've added your post to the original thread as it contains lots of info about the offer.
