Thanks for sticking up for me everybody. I think broken hearted is a brainless tart (that is if she is a women?). She hasn't actually offered me any advise or supporting words just tried to make me feel more depressed. X0

ohcrap, your husband is 'working' the system. The OR might be helpful to you or not. If it was me I'd want to know where that 70K had gone, I'd try everything to find out. Surely not cash, maybe bank accounts in others names - there must be a paper trail for that much. Not much you can do about the job, if he doesn't work, he doesn't work. The house is worrying though, If there is equity the OR will come after it. But if you keep the OR on side as others suggested, show when the ex took on the debt ( post split ) and provide the proof this MIGHT all be a scam, you'll stand a chance. Btw can't remember if you've said seperated or divorced ?0

I am separated going through the divorce process. I had to obtain a non-molestation order and occupancy order due to his violent behaviour. This divorce cannot come quick enough for me. Money is more important to him that taking reponsibility for our child. But I guess I must take some responsability for this, I married him ... now I must suffer the consequences X0

If your ex has deliberately disposed of monies the court could award you all the equity in the property. As well as a portion of monies recovered.
The equity is easier to award than possibly unrecoverable monies.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4.............................NCFC member No: 00005.........

I find it appalling that someone can post inflammatory comments to the OP, when she is clearly distressed.
Has no one reported this to the abuse team? I will do so now.
Clearly certain posters are not posting in the true spirit of MSE, and everything these boards stand for!Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0
