Why wont Halifax freeze interest on my CC?

    after stating that they wouldn't be able to stop charges and freeze interest i have received my statement from the halifax and the interest has been frozen again and no charges have been added

    I think that they are all the same, as the credit squeeze takes hold, and they are only making a few million a day in interest, they feel that the "Share holders" will dip out on a few bottles of the best champaige, they must kick the little man (or woman) when we are down, always remember, they cant get a pint of of a half-pint pot.

  • After my last letter and telephone conversation I got my statement and it states that there is NO interest applied this month and estimated interest for next month is ZERO!!!

    I haven't wanted to jinx this so no more letters to the AA until they change it again (gosh I'm so untrusting aren't I?!).

    Hopefully this will be the end of it.... good luck to everyone else who is trying to change this - keep plugging away, you'll get there in the end!
