Well I'm 17, shall be turning 18 in July, and the only cost conscious, nevermind OS-er, in my group of friends and most of my family - they all just see me as rather tight fisted! but I get it from my dad and my grandmother (his side)! Particularly my grandmother though- I was imparted with all her trics/tips and wisdom before she died=]
Shall even be getting myself a fold up shopping trolley in a month or so ready for uni in september************************************

I'm 38, (nearly 39) single mum to Miss SSL who is 14. We've been on our own for 10 years and I met a lovely young man (31) in 2006. He'll be moving in with us later on this year. He laughs at some of my OS ways, but loves the cooking/baking.
I always thought Twink was younger than me lol0 -

I am 51 and the old man is 61. As we have mostly lived the os way, we are both enjoying a very early retirement. Two daughters one aged 32 the other 27 ( another one who had children at a young age.) We also have three wonderful beautiful Grandchildren. How lucky are we that we are able to be at home and young enough to enjoy their company.Away with the fairies.... Back soon0

I am 51, DH is 48 and we have 4 lovely kids - DD aged 32, DS aged 29, DD age 17 and DS age 12, and a lovely DGD aged 9. Have always been old style, mostly through necessity, but I think I would still do it even if I was better off - it's very satisfying! Except for DD1 (who is very OS herself) most folk think I'm a bit odd and good to laugh at, but I don't care!People Say that life's the thing - but I prefer reading
