I'm 38, OH 36 and 3 children DD1 21, DS 9 and DD2 6. DD1 doesn't live with us, nly visits when she needs a shoulder to cry on or a bank balance boost. Gosh that sounds really cynical.

Wow what a cross section of ages... It seems whatever your age is you can be OS or needs must and we are ALL becoming OS :j
Saw a post about having kids early... I was 21 when I had my first and 36 when I had my second ... Not sure whether theres a link or not in having kids early and being OS or is it just the ever rising cost of things .... My parents are on holiday and I always when they come back put some milk, bacon , eggs, cheese and bread for them. I remember when it used to cost about £5-00 not any more.. although the bread is homemade
And I have been kept busy watering his 4 greenhouses with runner beans, tomatos and other things I wouldnt know until they produce fruit:rotfl:

I'm 30 DH is 33, 3 children 9, 4, 3.
I have been an OS since I was about 23 but only found this site (and how to work it out) within the last few years.
I have really taught my self to be OS (mother taught me to make soup and corned beef pies but besides that I taught my self. My mother and father were very fond of the drink so if the weren't at home they were always in the house  so needless to say mother was the worst person I knew at paying bills, anyway enough of that i'm going off topic sorry guys.

I'm 26, hubby is 33 and LO is 4. 1 beautiful albino bunny, 2 parrots and some fishies make up our household:D
I have saved a bucketload of money since becoming OS, i was never into ready meals etc and have cooked from scratch since i left home at 18. However this site has taught me so much about not wasting anything, and making things stretch further than i thought possible;)The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
I'm 23 now but was 19 when i joined the site just before i left home to move into my own house with DD, then 3. Now have OH and new baby on the way
The OS board has been invaluble to me, wouldn't have managed without it tbh!
