Hi - I turned 40 just 3 weeks ago:eek: my OH is 47 next month and my Daughters are 12 and 9. Just love OS as I'm a SAHM Mum and like to know my family are eating healthily and having a bit of Scots in my blood I hate wasting money;) Also grow my own veg, got lettuces, tomatoes, cucumber, beetroot, carrots, peppers and spuds in the garden at the moment. Also got a decent sized Apple tree which bears quite a bit of fruit, have a large Rhubarb patch, blackberry bush and Raspberry canes - OMG I've just realised I've made myself sound like Barbara from the Good Life:rotfl: :rotfl:"WASTE NOT, WANT NOT!"GC for OH, myself, DD18 & DD16 includes Toiletries, cleaning stuff & Food.

Hi, I'm 64, does that make me the oldest so far? Come on someone top that.
I have always been old style, more or less, mostly more. After a few more affluent years we are now tightening our belts ready for DH's retirement next year.
I love this sight and finding all you 'youngsters' having a go at OS is a great encouragement, makes me feel less prehistoric.

I'm 37 - the largest age group at the moment! Single, with DS age 9 and DD age 18. I used to be OS, and frugal, but busy lifestyles and (perceived, at least) extra income took over - realised I was in trouble and faced up to it last year, so I've only been here 6 months really - but made so made changes!0
