My 1st post was not at all abusive, I just get fed up with the none grabbit that appear in the grabbit board, there is a sticky in there highlighting what should be posted (see below)

Think of it this way if there was no board structure, then it would be hard to find what you are looking for, yes there is a search facility, but everyone uses it the site grinds to a halt

Sticky: Posting On The Grab It Board This board is for short-term, grab it deals only. Anything else, including general supermarket offers (bogof, half price or 3for2 etc) should be placed on the Shop But Dont Drop board.

But as i've tried to say in my previous post any codes posted have to adhere to the source convention. It was not stated where the code was obtained from and who has permission to use it. As the code was 'staff', we have err on the side of caution to protect the site. This is clearly stated on the links i previously posted.

In fairness your post was not abusive, a little terse maybe, but that is open to interpretation as unfortunately the writen word can be taken wrongly, it really is hard to tell how a comment was meant at times. I think maybe that if anyone thought you were terse this is because they have unfortunately tarred you incorrectly with the same brush as a few of the members who have been terse(or rude even) over the few days to newbies and low users.

I can understand fully why you get fed up with incorrectly posted things, admittedly it can be annoying.

I myself did presume your comment to be terse, but as you have indicated that it was not meant in that manner, I appologise for thinking otherwise :grouphug:

Thank you Broclo I agree that posts can be taken wrongly at times, I have indicated in my post above how it was meant to be read in coloured ink

The board guides are not on here 24/7 (hate that phrase :eek: ) the MSE community (thats all of us...;) ) should take some responsibility for helping to keep the forum running smoothly... :beer: we don't always get things right but if Poppycat and many other 'regular' folk did not keep tabs on what happened across the forums the place would not be such a useful resource (in my humble opinion )... especially in the battle of the spammers!! :mad:

Keep up the good work Poppycat and the shopping boards are soooo much better since having saintscouple and Rex_Mundi on board... :beer:

poppycat, hi!! as stated before by many others, often it's not what you say but how you say it. You yourself said you were fed up, thats why you posted how you posted. Never mind, i've been spoken to much worse before I guess

Anyway.... good to see that they post its are arriving, thanks for the update norm diploom.
