I'm looking forward to getting them!! as i said in original thread,my kiddies are sure to want to "share"
will be nice for their room and projects.

I too would like some kind of "sin bin" for threads that can be moved and/or edited instead of deleted so they can be refered back to... I would like to know when/if anyone gets their order etc.

btw, if this thread is in wrong place, please mods can you move it
    That's a good idea.
Also re. newbie bashing: Like in real life, I find it's in the way it's worded. Some people need to have a term at charm school.
    e.g. There's a difference between:
"Thanks for that, but would it be possible for this to be moved to the Grabbit/Code/Freebie Forum/Thread so more people can see iticon7.gificon14.gif"
    and
"Hey stupid, you've posted in the wrong section, you idiot:rolleyes::mad: ".
I prefer the first one ?
(Just an extreme example - not that anyone on here was nasty!).

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Name Dropper Combo Breaker
It was deleted. Please see This Rule.
    The OP was informed.

Just to clarify that board guides are not allowed to edit other members posts, however if we find a a post that breaches the rules we have to act upon it, for reasons set out in the link quoted above.
We do pm the op and invite them to repost, adhering to the rules, or if they are online will pm them with the opportunity to edit their post with immediate effect.

It's understandable that sometimes members, established or new, will not be aware of the rules for that particular board they post on. That's why we're here to highlight the rules to them, giving them the opportunity to amend their post.

Should a member who had an interest in a thread, that they now cannot find, it would be more resonable to pm a board guide for that board who can give reasons for its removal or its new location.

In this instance, the original op hasn't reposted, thus there is nothing stopping anyone else to post the deal again in accordance to the rules if they so wish. Note that codes must comply with the 'source convention'.

I will move this thread to the site feedback board, and leave a redirect on grabbit.... so you should have found me......hopefully ;)

    Xmas Saver!
:grin:Just want to echo the sentiments that broclo expressed so well above - it would be nice if new or irregular posters were encouraged, but all too often there is a race to condemn.

Thank you to the op, my post it notes arrived this morning and I am over the moon with the fact that this bargain price has been honoured and so quickly too.

Finally, in the spirit of fairness my experience is that the board guides on the whole do a very even-handed job in applying the rules as fairly as they can. It's a dirty job...

I nearly posted this same thread yesterday after spending about an hr trying to find the original post, going through all the forums, searching photo,3m, post its the works. It really would be more helpful if the post was just moved to the correct forum and not deleted, I was concerned as it stated next day delivery and mine didn't come yesterday, I mailed them and wanted to post the reply on here to put everyone elses mind at rest and couldn't and ended up posting on another site about it instead.

Do you need to be a guide to help the board run smoothly?

This board relies on members of the community to report items that are incorrectly posted.
    Gone ... or have I?

Smoothly would indicate that the member would be pointing the person in the right direction in a polite, helpful and cherry manner, which of course board guides normaly are.
