New Look for the Tip

  • Hi Martin

    Loving your work...

The new look is an improvement... But, surely it's time you invested in a designer. Both the website and the mails could be much improved.
Do you get any news mails from any other companies, try Amazon or Play.com or Apple, for well crafted mail newsletters.

And look around for well designed forums, Apples (https://www.apple.com) forums are clear, well designed and easily navigable. These companies mentioned are just off the top of my head.

As I say, loving your work, but I think the time has come for change.

    regards

The tip is in Sans serif- it's done in Arial - i wonder if you are getting a slightly distorted version aj?

    Hello Martin,

I recieve your TIP through my netscape mail account (Free to set-up) using firefox (web browser). I assume netscape is blocking your HTML mail template and presenting me with a plain text version to as to why I'm seeing a serif typeface.

Regarding nicely designed websites or applications, I would suggest having a look at the following:

    Mint
    Clear:left
    Blinksale
    Panic goods
    Basecamp
    Flickr
    Blogger

Also another browser soon to be released is http://www.flock.com/home/

Then again I don't think you have a issue with browsers? I don't have a problem viewing your website. Would say it's a bit busy/Cluttered?

    Thanks,

    aj
