Most people expect to get a bargain on ebay, although quite often the prices items go for isn't all that different from the shop price. Apart from the odd item that has most likely been put in the wrong category, it seems to be mainly furniture that goes for very cheap prices. Because people expect bargains they often don't recognise one when they see it. Some of the mattresses I sell are up to 75% off the price you could pay in the shops, but people still try to haggle.

So if you find a real bargain, then go for it, and don't feel guilty about it. If the seller was prepaired to set a reserve and pay the extra listing fee then they wouldn't have lost out.

Yesterday I bought a 1.5 Blue Granite sink and a Blue Gas hob with a free white extractor fan hood for 1.98. Collected the items locally this evening. They are in excellent condition :j found the items thanks to https://www.localbargainfinder.co.uk.
I'm well chuffed. Did try to offer the guy more money but he was happy as long as we gave him good feedback.

Just bagged myself a garden vac for £10, and I don't feel the least bit guilty. Seller was happy to get rid, I was happy to collect.
