Thanks Blacklily.....I know...I am so chuffed with myself :-)
I have been exactly the same...I keep looking at jobs and thinking I cant do that even though I have done a harder job before...but the one I found is perfect for what I need....it is only for a few hours a day so I wont have a break so that means I wont panic about what I am going to do on my break etc!!!! I think if the perfect job pops up you will find some strength.....thats how I managed to apply for it, otherwise I never would have!!! Even if I dont get the job I feel like I have achieved something :-) Good Luck x x

OMG Chollita.....that is the most beautiful kitten I've ever seen, no wonder you are fostering her. I'd love a white kitten, but 2 cats are quite enough...gets quite expensive!!! Well done you for your volunteer work and yes I was gutted, after getting all psyched up, now I'm going through it all again!!!! I'm so scared its unreal, and I know Im going to be ill again!!! :-(

If you're interested in volunteer work try http://www.do-it.org.uk/wanttovolunteer The best way to find out what's available is to do some searches on their database. If you get too many results (I got 642 within 5 km of my home!), narrow them down by selecting from the activity and category drop-down menus.

thankyou spanglish,I'll have a look at that.
Well I had my interview, I think it went really well. Problem is the job is not what I expected, I'd have to go on a training course on my own, whicg scares me to death, but also I will be working on my own, which means I wont be making any friends which is one of the reasons I wanted a job......they are going to ring and let ,me know either way and If they offer me it I just dont know what to say....any advise anyone???

Keep trying, don't be too disheartened. Look upon it as practice.
